It's over. I finally did it. I have reclaimed the title for being the WR holder of SMW2. 428 days of Scratchy is no more, and I cannot believe that.

Despite the massive choke on Boss, I still got WR by a good chunk. I finally went for SHS clip after discovering a consistent set up for the trick, allowing me to get it around 70% of the time. This run even with the slow Boss will be unbelievably hard to beat. Amazing TT and SHS Clip just can't top this.

I am absolutely speechless at just how rapidly I improved my PB to now. I am just dumbfounded. I feel like I am dreaming, especially with that I put an end to a reign of Scratchy that was over a year old. I may go for the 3:41, however it's going to be hard to beat, especially since I'm going against a pace that was -1.8 ahead into Boss. It feels like a dream.

Shout outs to Scratchy for being so supportive about my rapid progression towards WR. In fact without him, I probably wouldn't have even done this crazy ass run I did.

For what I will do next with this game, I'm not sure. Probably 100% ILs or possibly more Expert runs but this just gave me every single ounce of dopamine I can get from this game. I really am just fucking surprised, thank you to the SMW2 Speedrunning Community.

Also fuck Boss.
