I plan on running bigRig% a lot, and optimizing a route, and my runs been pending for a day-ish, and im new to speedrunning so idk how long a verification should take

thanks for any advice given!

It can take Under a Week, 1-2 Weeks, or up to 1 month, it just depends on how many verifiers are currently active and stuff like that, should take TOO long tho

Also ive seen that you used the F3 Menu in your run which last i recall is not allowed, just want you to know that so if you get a better run it wont get rejected, but it might end up getting rejected because of that, make sure to check the general rules on what is allowed

Australia

rule states it doesnt disquality it, only if I use console commands

Massachusetts, USA

In "DISALLOWED" under Game Rules it states "Any use of the developer console, F1, F3, or F8 menus. Opening the console on accident does not invalidate your run if no commands are executed, but you should make a habit of disabling it beforehand." which means any use of F1, F3, and F8 is disallowed, but opening console without using it on accident can be fine

It is as stated, the rules clearly reference the Function keys as Disallowed. Any run making use of them should be rejected. In rare cases it may be missed or allowed with a warning if the run is not in top contention for high leaderboard placement, but the better the run, the stricter we will apply the rules.

In regards the original question, in the SR.C Help section, regarding 'submitting your first speedrun' it is explained under 'Having your run verified' section that

Moderators are generally given up to 21 days to verify any given run. Some larger leaderboards, such as Minecraft, have more runs coming in and may have a longer wait time. If it has been 21 days since your run has been pending and no one has looked at it, you can contact the moderators of the leaderboard and ask them about the status of your run.

The longer the run, the longer it is likely to take to be reviewed as it can be difficult to have time to watch longer videos. In this case, a 2 hour run will definitely take the longer end of a month, and expecting a verification within 3 days is not very reasonable.

I would also strongly suggest the use of Youtube or similar hosting services as opposed to raw video links as the higher bitrate of less compressed video makes it harder for some people to watch it back smoothly.
