i found a glitch that makes you clip into the ground and infinitely fall into the void. near the entrance to the sewers as youre approaching your first area to jump on, if you stand on the right corner of the boat and spam jump and hold the run button, you clip out of bounds and fall!

oh, weird, i cant seem to. probably just my luck then? possibly because my computer was running a bit too hard so it slowed down the game a tiny bit and caused some weird stuff? besides that, no clue
The devs released a patch today that mentioned fixing "falling through world gitches", so that might be what happened.
