You may notice that this TAS does not watch any of the "Sausage exposion" cutscenes. This is due to a speedrunning trick: If you are holding a direction as the final level ends (e.g. The Anchorage in World 1), the input will be processed by the game in the overworld. Stephen does not visually move until the cutscene is done playing, but you can still input "Undo", which will undo the move and cancel the cutscene. The TAS makes use of this at every possible opportunity.
Unfortunately, this skip results in all future sausages being invisible. To fix that, the TAS inputs an extra direction and undo at the start of every level after World 1.
