At it's core, this run doesn't have a lot of elements to it. But due to RNG, you have to do some on the fly decision making that might be difficult to fully cover in this guide, but I will try my best. I'd suggest watching the fastest run to see how most the run is done, but this guide should hopefully help explain why we do certain things.

Overview Each season you'll sleep to the end of the season (except for winter), then only go out on one day that season. This gives the game time to spawn forage on your farm. Forage items on the farm only despawn at the end of each season, so late in the season is when the most items will have spawned. We also go out as late in the week as possible. Forage around the town resets on the night transition between Saturday and Sunday. So the optimal day to collect forage in town would be Saturday, but we go out on Fridays because we need to check the travelling cart.

Each season we collect the forage items for that season, and over those seasons we collect the materials and money needed to buy the copper axe upgrade so we can collect the hardwood for the construction bundle. We buy the rest of the items needed for the construction bundle from Robin. And we buy two exotics from the travelling cart. So money can be an issue in this run. Unless you are hunting a very fast time, it is generally worth it to pick up as much forage as possible to sell.

Forage Locations Spring Morels only spawn on the farm in spring, so you need to get it in spring. Horseradish, Leek, and Dandelion can be foraged on the farm, the busstop, backwoods, cindersap forest, or mountains. Daffodils only spawn in the busstop and in town.

**Summer **The farm can spawn Spiceberry, Grape, Sweet pea, and Common Mushroom. Town can only spawn Sweet peas, all other locations can also spawn Spiceberry and Grape.

**Fall **The farm spawns Red mushroom, Purple mushroom, and Common Mushroom. Blackberries can only spawn in town, and cindersap forest. Wild plum, and Hazelnut can spawn in busstop, backwoods, and mountain. Common mushroom can also spawn in backwoods and cindersap forest.

**Winter **Crocus and Crystal fruit can spawn anywhere that isn't on the farm. Snow yam and Winter root can be hoed up from any tillable tile

**Travelling Cart **We get the remaining 2 exotic forage items from the travelling cart

Farm Setup You should choose the forest farm, this will spawn the forage needed on the left side of the farm You should play as a female character, this will give you access to 500g from the mail in Winter, as a reward for making 5000g You should choose cat as the pet, as the Marnie cutscene is slightly faster with a cat

The Route Spring Start by sleeping to the 27th of Spring The day we go out in Spring, we have to trigger the mayor cutscene at the community centre, so it cannot be raining on the day you go out. Ideally you would go out on the 27th, but if it rains the 28th is also acceptable but town forage will be slightly worse. If it rains both days, you'll have to reset.

When leaving the house, (if running on the latest version 1.5), you can move your bed closer to the door. You may also collect the parsnip seeds to sell them, as we do need money on this run and they will sell for 150g. The Marnie cat cutscene will play when you leave, you can mash left click on her name to get through it quickly and to select no quickly.

After leaving the cutscene head towards the left side of the farm, and cut down 3 trees including their stumps on the way. This will give you 50 wood to make a chest.

At the left side of the farm, collect all the foragable items that are there. If your inventory gets full, you can trash the fibre, sap, and mixed seeds that you may have picked up. There is a hidden route between the top and bottom forage areas, use it to go between them quickly.

Once you've collected the forage from the left side, make your way back to the house, craft a chest and place it by your mailbox. In the chest, you can deposit your hoe and watering can, and one of each foragable item you've picked up (Horseradish, Leek, Dandelion, Morel).

Head to the busstop, the mayor cutscene won't play unless you enter town after 8:00am, so if you are there early (or if you want to be safe and have enough money) you can forage items from the busstop.

Enter town and skip the mayor cutscene, you can skip it quickly by pressing F on your keyboard. Run to the community centre, collect at least one Daffodil from town (or from busstop), enter the community centre and read the junimo text in the crafts room. Leave and head back to the farm.

Back on the farm, put one Daffodil in your chest, then put the rest of the forage you collected into the shipping container. Then go to sleep.

At the end of spring you should have a chest with one each of Morel, Horseradish, Leek, Dandelion, and Daffodil, and also have read the junimo text in the community centre.

**Summer **Sleep until the 26th of Summer Today we need to check the travelling cart, so we have to go out on the Friday.

Leave your house, and check the mail. You can spam open mail by alternating right click and e. You only need to open mail until you see the purple wizard letter.

Head to the left side of the farm. Today you need to collect 25 stone (for making a furnace), and as close to 5 coal as possible, so collect any that is on the way to the left side.

Forage all items from the left side, collect some more stone and leave out of the south farm exit (you don't need 25 stone before you leave but you should be pretty close to it)

Run to the travelling cart, check if they are selling any of the following Cave Carrot, Coconut, Cactus Fruit, Pine Tar, Maple Syrup, or Oak Resin. You need any 2 of these. The most common is the Cave Carrot, followed by Coconut and Cactus Fruit. If three appear in a cart, get the cheapest two. If 1 or none appear, that is fine, we can check the cart again in Fall and Winter.

From the cart, head south to the wizard's house. If you didn't read the letter, he won't let you in. When you enter, a cutscene will play, you can immediately skip it and leave.

From the wizard's, head back to the farm. Head up to the house, and collect any more stone that you need. Put your stone and any coal that you collected in the chest (note how much coal you got), along with your tools. Take out everything you can turn in to the community centre.

Head to the community centre, you can forage the busstop on the way if you are playing safe. At the community centre, complete the spring bundle, and summer bundle. The morel and any exotics you got from cart(if you got any) into the exotics bundle, and put the common mushroom in the fall bundle if you got one. Always put the lowest quality version of the item in the bundle, if you have varying qualities.

Grab the rewards (30 spring seeds, 30 summer seeds) from the bundle, and wait for the cutscene to finish playing.

Head to Pierre's and sell everything you can. Then head to Clint's.

At Clint's buy 45 copper, and 5 coal minus however many you got on the farm (e.g. you got 2 coal from the farm, so you only need to buy 3 coal from Clint). This point is where some runs may die, if you got very bad forage or bought very expensive exotic items from the cart. If you can't afford the copper, it is a reset. If you are slightly short on coal, you can break more rocks on the farm to try and get the remaining.

Run back to the farm, grab your tools, stone, and coal from the chest. Then sleep.

**Fall **Leave the house on Fall 1, to trigger the Clint cutscene. Skip it and run back inside. Craft a furnace, place it next to your bed, and smelt a copper bar, then sleep. Each day smelt one bar then immediately sleep. You can leave the last bar in the furnace, you can get it on the day you leave in fall.

Sleep to the 26th of Fall. Grab the last copper bar then leave the house.

Run to the left side of the farm. The trees can be quite overrun at this point, so it can be difficult. This is where clearing the correct trees in spring can leave you an easier path in fall.

On the left side, forage everything you find. You'll need a purple mushroom, red mushroom, and a common mushroom if you didn't get one in summer. If you don't have a red or purple mushroom, it's possible that a mushroom tree spawned, which will drop red mushrooms, and breaking its stump can drop a red or a purple mushroom.

If the cart didn't have all the exotics you need in summer, now is the time to check the cart again for the needed items.

Run back to your chest, put all tools away except your axe. Head to the busstop.

In the busstop you should hope to find a Wild Plum and a Hazelnut. If they aren't there, the next best place to check is the mountain, followed by the backwoods.

Head to the community centre, you should find a blackberry in town, usually spawns around the community centre.

In the community centre, turn in everything you can. Collect the rewards you get, (30 fall seeds, 5 autumn bounties if you got all the exotics).

Head to Pierre's and sell everything you can.

Then head to Clint's and buy the axe upgrade.

Head back to the farm, and grab your Hoe, Pickaxe, and any spare wood and stone you have. Then sleep.

**Winter **Sleep to the 5th of Winter

Here the run can take a few routes depending on how much money you have, and if you have the exotics from the cart.

Assuming you have all the exotics, you are aiming to have 4000g. This is needed to buy 198 wood and 99 stone from robin. 20g for each stone and 10g for each wood. So if you have spare wood and stone, that reduces how much you need to buy.

If you have 3500g and the exotics, you can spam open mail to get 500g as a reward.

If you have less than 3500g and no spare wood and stone, then you will need to turn in the winter forage to the community centre first, then sell the winter seeds to Pierre before going to Clint's.

If you don’t have the exotics, every Friday and Sunday you should immediately leave the house, run to the cart, check for the items, and if they aren’t there run back and sleep till the next cart day. Once the cart has the items, continue with the day as follows. Sometimes the cart is terrible, and just never has the items, if you get to 26th and it still doesn’t have it then continue as if you did get everything then go back to checking every cart day.

If you have the exotics, just check mail (if needed) then leave to the bus stop on the 5th.

Skip the Crobus cutscene, then hoe the dirt tiles till you get a snow yam and winter root, you can also hoe the dirt outside the CC if you don’t get them in the bus stop.

Check the bus stop for a crocus and crystal fruit. If the crocus isn’t there, you can check in town. If the crystal fruit isn’t there, you can check cindersap forest. If your money is good enough to not need the winter rewards and you don’t find it in the forest, you can wait till you go to robins and check mountain and backwoods for them.

Once you have all the winter forage items, and enough money or as much as possible, go to Clint's. If money was good, and forage was kind you might need to wait till 9 for him to open.

Collect your axe from Clint then run up to Robin’s

At Robin's, buy wood and stone till you have 198 wood and 99 stone, prioritise getting the stone first then wood if your money is below 4000g

Run through the back woods to your farm.

There is a hardwood stump directly south of the north farm exit, then go to the left forage area to get 4 more stumps.

If your energy is good, or you know the path between the left side of the farm and your house you can go back to the community centre via the bus stop. If your energy is bad or you don’t know the path, then you can go back via the backwoods and mountain.

Enter the community centre and turn everything in.

Timing ends on the final flash of the Junimo cutscene

__Closing Thoughts __This run doesn't require animation cancelling to get a time below 30 minutes, being fast at Crafts Room comes mostly from being very comfortable with the route and knowing how to make changes on the fly to handle the RNG elements of the run. Getting there comes from practicing, and completing runs.

Good luck and have fun. And drop a message on the discord if you have any questions.
