How to Record a Run

If your video was recorded with the built-in screen recording feature on your device, the video must have sound, and you must have the microphone enabled. If your video was recorded with a camera, make sure the screen is reasonably visible.

How to Upload Videos to Youtube from your Phone or Tablet

We highly recommend using the mobile site on your device (not the Youtube app). We've encountered issues trying to upload using the app.

1. Go to Youtube.com in the browser on your device (e.g. Safari, Chrome)
2. Press the upload icon in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Tap on "Select files to Upload" and choose the video you want to upload
4. Put in all relevant information and upload. Do not exit out of the app while it is compressing the video.

Submitting Your Run to This Site

1. Log into your Speedrun.com account. Create one if you don't have one.
2. Go to the relevant leaderboard, and press the "Submit run" button.
3. Put in all required information, and submit. Your run will appear on the site when a moderator has reviewed and approved it.
