Any% Dragon, Egg and Gem Count

Basic route splits for Any% that includes all levels and homeworld requirements. This will get you started, but alternatively you could remove all level splits and only use homeworld splits.

Note: Mama Proxy is not needed to fulfill the gemcounts in the brackets, but itll give you a small bonus if you get it.

any% with shorter Bike Caves and no Dry Canyon Jump

Beginner friendly route splits for 120% without the wall glides in either Artisans (skipping into Toasty) or in Peace Keepers (wall glide to Night Flight). I added a split for each homeworld so the level order is as clear as possible, but would likely be something removable after learning the route.

Autosplitter and Load Remover for NTSC-U roms played on Mednafen 1.24.3 as well as ePSXe 1.9.25 & 2.0.0. NOTE: Only works on NTSC-U.

Emulator Autosplitter and Load Remover

Up to date version of the Autosplitter and Load Remover for this game. This Autosplitter supports both NTSC-U and PAL and will recognise the region you are playing on the fly. You can also use it for IL runs - it supports splitting as specified in the [Official IL Leaderboard spreadsheet](https://www.speedrun.com/spyro1/resources/7bbm3) and load removal equal to the [Practice ROM](https://www.speedrun.com/spyro1/resources/ejoir)'s IGT.

An alternative experimental version of the Autosplitter is also available (only supports NTSC-U) which load standardises to FDS timings. Currently this only supports level and balloon loads and therefore is not useful for categories like Any%/120% where there are many dragons but it will retime dragon-less categories to FDS properly.

Steps to set up the Autosplitter:

- Click "Download ZIP" and extract the .asl file.
- In Livesplit, right click > Edit Layout > + > Control > Scriptable Auto Splitter.
- Double Click "Scriptable Auto Splitter", click "Browse" and select your extracted .asl file.

**Note**: When running on Duckstation, the Autosplitter will only work if Duckstation is opened **before** Livesplit!

**Note 2**: RAM changes don't always align with visual cues, plus Livesplit's autosplitting script is unable to run at a consistent framerate (technical limitation) hence your final time will not be perfect on the frame. You will still have to frame time your final RTA.

This IL spreadsheet is often used in conjunction with [Composer and OddKara's Practice Codes](https://www.speedrun.com/spyro1/resources/ejoir). However, you can submit times on an unmodified copy too.

Intermediate 120% route splits that includes wall glides in both Artisans and Peace Keepers and removes unneeded short splits at the end of homeworlds. (Ice Cavern & Peace Keepers, Blowhard & Magic Crafters, Jacques & Dreamweavers)

Any% route that removes Bike Caves in favour of smaller, more frequent, high gems-per-second detours. 

TL;DR, loses about 40 gems out of high caves, recovers them later in tree tops and DW homeworld

Some emulators/disk burning software require a cue file to go along with the bin. If you need one, you can use https://www.duckstation.org/cue-maker/ to create one.


**In order to use these codes on a PS2, you'll need a PS2 that can read burned disks. Either through [Mechapwn](https://github.com/MechaResearch/MechaPwn), or a modchip.**

A playlist of routes to accompany the Vortex 22:XX splits. The splits deviate from this playlist once; in Doctor Shemp, I opted for all three phases of the boss fight in lieu of the second wallglide.
