Dev Menu (Steam)

1. Right-click Split Fiction in your Steam Library
2. Go to **Properties...**
3. Enter "-devmenu" into the launch options text box (pictured)
4. You're good to go! Close the window and boot up the game

**NOTE**: Without [Speedtools](https://www.speedrun.com/splitfiction/resources/y6x9u), the dev menu only appears inside levels, not on the main menu

FPS Overlay (Steam)

1. Go to **Steam** at the top-left of the Steam Launcher
2. Go to **Settings**
3. Go to **In Game**
4. Choose a corner under **In-game FPS counter** (Top-left being most common)

**TIP**: Toggle on **In-game FPS counter high contrast color** for better visibility!

**NOTE**: When using OBS, remember to enable **Capture third-party overlays (such as steam)**

In-Game Timer

In-game timer can be activated by going to the options menu and pressing the following keys:

- **Keyboard**: Ctrl+F6
- **Controller**: Hold right trigger, then hold left trigger, then click right stick (R3) while both triggers are held

Once successful, the timer should appear in the top-right corner of your screen. Alternatively, if you are on PC, you can use the integrated [LiveSplit](https://livesplit.org/downloads) timer. Splits can be found [here](https://speedrun.com/splitfiction/resources/roojl).
