I mean, can someone tell me what am i doing wrong or it is now literally impossible to get a 16 sec? And how it that fair for the new runner since there is no difference on the leaderboard?

You run is pretty good. I think is the game update. The scrolling is a few more slower. But maybe I'm wrong

Me too I can't sub 17 in 1-1 with this version. My best is 17.63

I think create a page with all downloads of all versions of the game is a good idea.

Oui, c'est présentement impossible de faire un temps plus bas que 17.62 depuis la nouvelle mise a jour (Excepté si le jeu run plus vite si l'on a plus de fps). Il y a 4 facon selon moi de changer sa.

  1. Retirer toute les run des ancienne update
  2. Faire comme dark soul 2 https://www.speedrun.com/ds2#Any_Current_Patch
  3. Rajouter les patch comme dans le 100%. Il y aurait donc any% 1.1, any% 2.2 100% 1.1 et 100% 2.2, ce qui pourrait devenir long aux fil des patch si la vitesse est encore changé
  4. Simplement faire comme térarria et crée plusieur jeux https://www.speedrun.com/terraria

I can translate for the other moderator if needed

  1. : Delete old runs is not acceptable without a valid reason. The developpers will update the game soon and fix this maybe. Contact @Halesgaar for more informations about this on Twitter : https://twitter.com/_Speed_Matters_

  2. and 3. : We have "Any% (0.2.x.x)" and "100% (0.2.x.x)" as misc category because the game is not finished yet. The true Any% and 100% is coming soon. (We will create a thread once the game is fully finished.)

  3. : Create a game request for each new version is not a good idea. Minecraft for example has a single board (with a version variable) and not a board for each version. Create a variable in the leaderboard is is better. You can always filter the Leaderboard to show only runs with the 0.2.0.1 version for example.

what about the individual level then?

Sorry for not responding sooner, it's post LD and we are more working on bugfixing our game than working on Speed Matters. Remember the game is not finished yet, it's in beta version and changes when it needs to change, so speed running it while in development may not be the best idea, unless precising the version. I can reupload ancient builds if you're interested. The speed didn't changed between versions, it just uses v-sync now and that may be the problem. I'm self learning programming, and begun only 3 months ago, so I can't promise anything.

I hope you will understand and thanks keeping interest in our game, we should go back working on it soon :)

If you're running any category that involves only World 1, you want to use version 0.0.1.1, because in the later versions: -IGT is slower by slightly more than a second per level -RTA is slower because of lengthy level transitions

In fact, that's the major difference between my 2:20 and MrEsneg's 2:25; We both used the same strats, but his time was almost 5 seconds slower almost purely due to transition times.

I have a copy of 0.0.1.1 on my computer, and I can upload it to the resources tab if it's alright with the developers.

No problem for me, I learned a lot since the beginning of the development, and will use delta_time for future versions of the game, allowing the game to run at the same speed on any refresh rate and configuration, so anyone will be on the same level when speedrunning the game.

Alright, I have uploaded version 0.0.1.1 into the Resources tab. Let me know if there are any problems with it.
