New runner here, I'm extremely interested in running the game however all of the top runners, especially in level runs, use the drill wispon with the same buffs. How do you get this specific drill?

Hi there! This depends on the category and type of run, as you've noticed!

Fullgame (Any%, NG+) runs will either use the 1-perk Drill or the 3-perk Drill. Any% No Rental uses the former. The 1-perk drill is unlocked by leveling the Dog Avatar to one Gold Medal, as mentioned above.

The 3-perk drill used in level runs, and NG+ (and via Rental Avatars in Any% Rental) is unlocked by completing Laser Cannon 1, one of the bonus stages.
