Here are my tips on Google Snake Speedrunning.

The first obvious thing you should do is to get a timer. Google Snake actually has a built-in timer, the link to the tutorial by Yarmiplay(mod) can be found here:

The reason why you should use this is because every other timer usually requires a key to set, and there are many factors that can lead to inaccurate timing, which can indeed later cause issues.

The next thing is strategy, what is the best way to get apples? Of course, the apples are "random", so you can't "predict" where the apples will spawn. Google Snake Speedrunning relies on skill, timing and luck, so you have to practice a lot.

One method I usually use to obtain apples/points quicker is the staircase method, this method has to do with spamming between two keys that aren't on the same axis, here is a video showcasing what staircasing is:

This is a more efficient method than sliding.
