Hey!

I am Nolmy and I am looking to get more into this game. I recently started doing orb 11 exit after not doing any SMW for years, and I have gotten to 10:52 so far. I am looking to take this further with cloud, however, I have a few questions first.

This video shows what I've been trying for cloud but after many attempts, I haven't even gotten it once. Is there something I am doing wrong or is there something I am missing with the trick?

My other question pertains to the animation when you grab Yoshi in YI2.
In runs I see, the animation for when Yoshi comes out of his egg seems sped up, how can I do this in my runs?

From what i'm seeing, you jumped too high for the dismount off of yoshi. You need to collect the coin before yoshi eats it so the item swap can happen. Also, don't forget to hold the L and R shoulder buttons while doing this. BTW, I'm not the most experienced smw runner so if anyone else sees anything, feel free to add to my words

There was recently a video about the new 11 Exit Cloud world record that details all of the strats used. It might be helpful!

The Cloud setup seems fine but you must also hold L-R shoulders, I think you can find more as "Cloud XLR Method". About the Yoshi thing, hit the Yoshi block with the Koopa Shell and Mario's head on the same frame so the game spawns two Yoshis but since that can't happen one is invisible and the other hatches twice as fast.
