I Submitted 2 runs. an any% run and a All Death Animations Run. Both were submitted a week ago, close to being 2 weeks ago. they were not verified and ofc, i want you to please finally verify my runs.
it can take time for runs to be verified, even the new third place run by Lucid isn't verified yet, whilst it can be inconsistent and annoying, you have to be patient.
Yeah it can take a few weeks, even for Category Extensions, even for WR's. (My Hardcore Talkatoo WR took...3 weeks I think?)
You aren't alone. We all have to wait, unfortunately.
They're super backed up, and verifying a single run is a pretty long and tedious process. This is a very large community with hundreds of active runners submitting runs. So, that said, it's generally a good practice to hold off on submitting PB's if you believe you can easily get another one within a few weeks.
It says it can take up to 3 weeks when you submit it. Everyone has to wait for their run to get verified. Not everyone who follows this game needs to hear you whine about how long its taking and the mods dont need people like you to rush them, they are volunteers. Just be patient
BF Speedruns take literal minutes to verify and those are popular too. yes those runs are shorter but someone said that they watch the start and the end only until its a top 50 run
Bowsers fury speedruns are literally 3x less popular than odyssey. Also with the size of odyssey as a speedrun, verification is way more important as odyssey is the 5th most active speed game right now whereas bowsers fury is sitting at 35th.

Thanks to everyone else for applying some critical thinking here. Odyssey is the 5th most popular game on speedrun.com, with 267 active players (which counts everyone who has submitted a run in the last month to my knowledge, so even some people who run the game everyday and haven't pbed in a month won't be counted). We receive a significant amount of runs each day, and considering a lot of us are in education and some (myself included) are currently doing their final exams, which will obviously take priority over a job that we volunteer to do for free out of our love for the game and community. You're not the only person waiting for a run to be verified, if you really need to know there are 216 runs in the queue currently.
Everyone else seems to be patient, why can't you be the same?
