Will my run be unverified if I turn the volume in Wooded to 0 because I have to concentrate so hard (nut clip and stuff) or am im allowed to turn it off in Wooded and turn it later on again?

i am pretty sure it is allowed becuase no sound is allowed becuase splices are really easy to see in super mario odyssey becuase of the camera angle changing if you splice so it should be allowed

pretty sure runs have to audio on during every stage of the game but best to check it with the mods in the discord

You'd have to check the game rules, which say:

"All runs require video proof (with audio)."

But I would also ask the mods if you're unsure about this specific case - you would have audio for most of the run

couldnt you just mute your speaker, not your audio from your capture card in obs, then you dont have to worry about it being disqualified

The problem is if they're not using a capture card.

But you could turn the volume down from your TV - it would be quieter and less distracting, but still valid.
