Are you able to do a ground pound jump on the icicle instead of a backflip? Doesn't that give slightly more height?

With the big jump, you can do a rainbow twirl be pressing a just after you bounce of cappy. It should delay your jump for a bit and in could make this slightly easier.

Do rainbow twirls give you any height or do they just delay your falling?

it does give you a little bit of height, but it is cancelled out by the time the animation ends

that tower can also be completely skipped, and you can come back to it later when the ice is gone (and there's a wire to the top)

But you need to do this moon for world peace
