@Johny_Mandarino, I agree, I thought about creating "another game" at speedrun.com, but I don't know, will this accepted or not. I'd like to add some IL's or inividual worlds. The main problem of new categories is that it is hard for mods to verify runs, I said somewhen that we can addmore mods or create new game with new mods.

I mean I feel like I mentioned a while back that if some of you guys want to create your own separate board or site for these categories, feel free to do so. We already moderate about 40 meme categories along with the official categories. I'm not going to speak for the other mods, but I think that's plenty.
If you're getting bored with having that many categories, is it time to start exploring other games? I'm not trying to be mean or drive anyone away or anything like that. I just think it's a legitimate question. I get bored with a game quite often and that's why I run most of the 2D Mario games to keep myself interested in still doing this after 4.5 years. It's also nice to be a part of multiple communities.
What other 2D Mario game has anywhere close to that many categories except for SMW (which is a much more robust game for meme categories)?
I feel that we've done what we can to reasonably accommodate the needs and wants on the moderation side and the runner side of the leaderboard. Not everyone is going to be happy and not everyone is not going to agree all the time and that's just how it is.
We may try to submit it as a new game request on this site, but if you can create web sites or know someone who do so it will be also a good idea. I don't know what SRC stands for.
You don't need a leaderboard to do a speedrun. A few runners would do some silly runs every now and then to break up the regular category grind. We didn't need a leaderboard we just played and had fun. Really the only overlap in any of this was me and andrewg occasionally both messing around with 1-1 fireflower or 10 lives, and maybe a few different people had done coop runs. We made the meme leaderboards with a few of these categories in mind.
If you want to run a new category every week, that's fine, play the game however you want. But you don't need an SRC leaderboard to do it, and it doesn't really make sense to have one anyway because there won't be enough people submitting to hundreds of different categories to warrant a verified leaderboard. A verified leaderboard loses all meaning if it only has 1 submission in a category. I suggest you guys just make a google doc/spreadsheet and keep track of your times amongst yourselves if you want to compete in lots of new categories.
TL;DR: you don't need someone else or a leaderboard to tell you that you can run a category, just play the game however you want and have fun.
@eddiecatgaming We could also consider putting PAL SMB on it, since the most accurate PAL timings are within a second, so we could be more accurate, and PAL us already sort of a meme category. Also, what did you call your submission? I sort of liked Super Mario Bros Memes

@eddiecatgaming The only issue I have with the doc, is that some ideas are just BAD. And, we don't want just anyone messing with the doc, so there still should be some moderation, just make it more loose, and have more categories.
Most of people willn't know about google doc like that. And if we have a category in google doc, people will think that there is no ever leaderboard of this category. That's just how people, like me, want to be popular and see solid run on official leaderboard. Because some people challenge memes as well as any% and I think that best runs should be known.
