Can one if mods, please verify my 10 walljumps run, which I posted on forum like 2 weeks ago?

Be patient. That's all I can say.

SMBCE runs take a lot of time to be verified since the run are a lots easier than the regular runs. It's completely normal to have a run pending for a long time. I have an 8-4 IL run that's been waiting for 2 months now. All the moderators have lives so just be patient and it'll get verified eventually.

My 8-4 IL run was submitted on Jan. 12, and my 1-1 Fire Mario run was submitted on Jan. 13. Neither of them have been verified. Be patient. The mods have lots of other runs and lives to deal with.

i agree with the others. There has been a lot of runs to SMBTLL and SMB1 and SMBCE isn't a priority. Although, I think it is weird that Kosmic's SMBTLL PB was verified almost immediately while there are SMBCE runs from 1-2 months ago. Although, SMBTLL is more important, it seems like they should get SMBCE runs from 1-2 months ago before SMBTLL runs from under a week ago. That being said, in due time your run WILL be gotten to.

While I don't think a forum post for a run not getting verified is really ever necessary (there's better ways to get in contact), I don't entirely agree with the viewpoint of "give the mods time, they're volunteers." There are 12 mods. The argument that some of them are there for purposes of respect because they're good at the game is bullshit. If there's 12 mods, it shouldn't take that long for runs to get verified. Just because you're a volunteer doesn't mean you don't have responsibilities. If you've had a run sitting waiting for verification for a month and a half @Mars02 , I salute you for being as patient as you're being. I would never think a run sitting for that long with this quantity of mods would ever be reasonable.

I 100% agree with that ^. I also understand that the mods have lives and that’s there’s a lot of runs but when volunteering to become a mod you need to understand that you have responsibilities. If you are too busy to get on then don’t volunteer. While I do understand that yeah this is the busiest time of year for a lot of people you should still have enough time to at least check and verify a couple runs a week. If all of the mods truly are too busy then have some less busy people apply. And if you don’t enjoy moderating anymore then contact the rest of the mods and unmoderated yourself. It does no good to have a ton of mods when only a couple actually verify runs (and it might be one of the things that cause people to be impatient). (Please keep in mind that I’m just throwing my opinion out there, I don’t really like controversial stuff like this so it’s not regular for me to post in these types of forums)

They verified smbce runs in 2 days in the past. I have time time right now and I bealive few more people also. Can I be the moderator? Just for verifirng runs, I have experience with it. Probably not, because I had a lot of desagreement with mods, even if I don't think it's necesarry to have same opinion with any else human. But I know there is a lot more active experienced players to be mods. Be patient? Ha ha. There is ton of CATEGORIES, not even runs, that I can't put to this leaderboard, so I have to learn patience. But THIS IS YOUR WORK, mods, even if you don't have money from that. Same is normal job, this is you work for this world, so please, be more responsible. I'm really sorry, if I said wrong, I can understand a lot of of kinds of situations, but I want to make things better. If smbce not as important as smb1 for mods, it means it'same for people. Let's respect each other, please.

They even don't have as much mods in smbce, but I think if runs waitnong too long for verificatoin, game need more mods then smb1

11x Categories - New Timing Method

Hey Folks!

Just wanted to announce a new change to timing methods for both 11x categories. The new timing standards are as follows:

  • Timing starts from power-on/reset (or game select if you're using one of the combo cartridges).
  • Timing ends on grabbing the axe on the 11th run.
