Momentum throttling guide.

This game would be a little less interesting if not for this technique.  As you dash in the air, tap but don't hold the opposite direction you are facing.  If you do this properly, you should fly backwards with dash speed until you hit the ground.  If you hold a direction the momentum from the dash will not transfer.

Additionally, multiple of these can be done in succession.  While flying backwards go into a down strike, then an airdash and then using momentum throttling again.  This allows you to gain more horizontal distance.  A good example of where this would be use is in level 3-4 where you glide over a pit.
