Boring Void Travel discoveries. If you hit RedEye or Magic Cave maps without touching any other maps, cutscene will play.

(Sorry for lack of audio on these, recordings got botched)

Orbit is funny but useless. The game crashes once Fox leaves the map. Flying to planets works as normal.

It is possible to skip SunStone and MoonStone entirely

this only works in WC2, so sadly we cannot Skip SS2/SS4/DR

Here's a useless TAS-only trick:

You can fall past the rubble blocking the Krazoa's mouth in CC3, and then staff-swing into the save trigger which is past where the fire gem door would normally be (which fails to load when CC is glitch loaded).

Normally, there is no way to transfer "high-flags" from one file to another independent of location. However, this can be done if using an ESW as Krystal.

Many prop related things are kept in high-flags, so it may be possible to unload a prop as Fox, transfer that to Krystal, and then walk passed the unloaded prop.

This could open up some skips, but it would have a large setup costs (potentially reobtain K1 / watch Fox intro cutscenes).

I couldn't find why this bug was caused, but I was able to find this button state bug -- sometimes you can get buttons to freeze their state, or even get the button to lower below the ground

CRF unloaded cutscene warp

Steps:

  1. Save outside central area
  2. Load file, clip barrel into tunnel
  3. Break central pillar, save/quit while it is breaking (not frame perfect).
  4. Reload to save file outside area
  5. Load the queen, and exit on the exact frame the cutscene plays
  6. You now warp inside, but the center is unloaded

You can glitch the HighTop cutscene

If we could figure out how to make Fox cutscene-void here, then this could work as a HighTop skip using the FireFly skip strategy.
