I'm trying to do a run where I don't collect any Pirate Gear by using the auto potion skip over and over again (which is very expensive by the way). However, I'm stuck at Squid Baron 2.0 as the scimitar is required. Is there any way to skip this fight or do I have to collect it?

Requiered to beat the Game are Scimitar and Cannon, every other boss can be beaten without their item.
You will probably get Boots because of the Dagron fight, because else it's a mess with only Pike balls.
