Hi im new and i cant figure out how source unpack works...I click on the Portal.cmd and it runs the game but no console shows up. Theres probably an easy way to fix this but im a noob
I didn't know there was a portal.cmd in Source Unpack... I don't know what it does but I know it's not what you're supposed to click on, haha. You're supposed to use portal.bat to open it.
Now that I think of it, I may have had to make the bat file myself(I may be thinking of the GoldSrc one, though...). If there is no portal.bat I can copy/paste mine here.
Edit: I think I misunderstood your problem. You mean the developer console window? That has to be enabled in settings. In the keyboard tab there is an "advanced" button. That will open a window where you can check a dev console option. I don't remember what exactly it says.
Check that box and then you can press the tilde key (~) to open it.
