While speedrunning Portal, I've always tried the trick where I get the radio from the room near the beginning and put it next to the door at a slanted angle. I would soon figure out that there was a glitch where you could skip that entire section and go to the last part of the chamber. I've tried the trick and failed many times. One time I did it but I haven't been able to replicate it. Since then, I've always had to the trick with the radio. Does anyone know any easier trick?
An update has been released for SST that adds the command sst_portal_resetisg. This command removes Item Save Glitch and is to be used in place of restarting the game. This is a temporary solution while a more robust and legitimate one is developed.
