I recently started practicing the speedrun for this game and I think I discovered a new strat on level 7. On the slants near the end, with a well timed jump you can skip over the flats between the slants and land directly on the next slant.
i tested this against the old strategy and it would actually save around 0.5-1 second, i need to try this out in one of my runs, nice discovery
I knew you could do this but it felt better and seems less risky to do it the normal way. I guess I'll start doing this now
This isn't a new strat, pretty sure some of my runs from late last year do the exact same strategy.
well, it was neither in the 16 level run guide nor in any of the speedruns i saw (including your 16 no skips wr) so I thought it was new. Should be added to the guide regardless. I may as well mention that skipping the second-last corner is tecnically possible, I managed to get it once after a lot of attempts.
