I don't mind that but the only thing which actually triggered is that THERE ARE NO VIDEOS IN HIS RUNS WHICH MEANS YOU COULD'VE WARPED IN WARPLESS CATEGORY. Like I understand everything but bro got images in his WRs instead of actual videos. Some images aren't even available so like... wtf?

I completely understand your point. However, you probably have not seen my gameplay, and to most runners I am pretty legit.

I can’t really record well due to lag while recording, which slows me down quite a bit. It’s got to the point where I am almost discouraged from doing it besides recording runs for other categories. I’ve speedran RGD for almost 2 years, and I’ve screenshotted almost every run leading up to today.

As for how some of them don’t load, it’s because discord doesn’t really show them from Speedrun.com which sucks, so I will have to manually go through all my runs just to upload the picture. Also, other categories require videos, just the main ones don’t, and some of the runners are already posting without video evidence

anyways, in regards to the topic, it's ABSOLUTE PIECE OF SHIT OPINION WHOEVER IS QUESTIONING VIETDON!! as the current World Record Holder here by 6.14.2023, i'm absolutely sure there's no doubt in vietdon, and from anyone. Every good speedrunner in the community do have absolute trust in vietdon and there's ZERO and ZERO doubts in him. He's the moderator here for a reason, and one of the main faces of RGD speedrunning. It's absolute disrespect to literally go on with shittalking about him like this without knowing a single shit about him. you should really watch your language. Everyone in the community has absolute trust in him and he's the literal third person in the RGD Leaderboard, and One of the LEGENDS of this game with SO MANY WORLD RECORDS, and i have absolute trust in him as well and i'm pretty sure about everything i've just said. vietdon himself answered about why attachments stuff aren't shown so there's no need to elaborate further about that.

In the end, He's a very well known face and Every Pro face of this community or Anyone who knows him have deep trust in him. so do not go ahead with trash-talking about a legend like him. He's well trusted, and that's for sure.

There's nothing I have to watch in my language as I'm stating facts, not arguments. No one cares how popular you are or how good you are at the game. Runs should be verified properly not just send an image and say that you beaten a WR. And where did I shittalk him? I stated that he instead of recording he proceeds to send screenshots. I never said he's bad or ANYTHING related to that so stop putting words into my mouth lol.

I have nothing against Viet, the only thing that removes the purpose of speedrunning is the fact the runs aren't being verified properly and instead they are held on "trust".

I created this not to judge a person over his screw ups, but i also don't want to mention mine because i was a little harsh when created this so that's one on me. I created this to showcase how poorly moderated this category is currently. And viet currently verifying the runs which are just held on images indicates he's the only active moderator in here so it's best to mention him and mention what exactly is wrong.

As of right now, images are NOT sufficient enough to showcase that you actually beaten a world record. If developer created specific settings for speedrunners(Not only a timer) which can actually show how fast and what category someone is doing in a run then there would be no arguments and you may use screenshots as proof for WR.

You make a valid point. I am trying a new way to record runs, which I think will benefit not just me but for the whole website. It’s going great so far, hope to see more recorded runs from me 👍🏻

"I have nothing against Viet, the only thing that removes the purpose of speedrunning is the fact the runs aren't being verified properly and instead they are held on 'trust'." the main reason runs don't require video proof is because a large portion of top runners aren't able to record their runs, so we collectively decided it would be better if we lowered the burden to just require a screenshot so that people would still be able to compete even if they can't record. yes, images are easier to fake than videos, but we've never had a problem with cheaters getting runs verified. we know that top runners (including don) are skilled enough at the game to beat the wr because we've seen them play before, which objectively makes their runs more believable; so it's not just held on trust, it's held on knowing how skilled players are (you can still watch them play outside of recorded runs by going into a multiplayer run with them) AND screenshots

he's also not the only active moderator
