Recently I submitted an SNS run but my icon in the starting elevator wasn't showing when it disappeared and it got rejected due to that. I'm not saying that it is unfair and I'm completely aware that I didn't follow the rules, but I'm just curious why it needs to be showing. If it's for accurately timing runs, there is a clear audio cue that goes along with it, but if it's for some other reason, I'm curious for the reasoning.

It’s impossible to retime off sound and the start frame is just for accurate retime
Additionally, audio isn't consistent among runs, and avatars disappearing is much clearer than something like the frame the door begins to open.
