What should the protocol be if a runner mistakes the realm transistion as the end of the run instead of actually hitting the final checkpoint

Relating to this run, https://www.speedrun.com/roblox_cool_obby_2/run/zg22pedy , due to the lack of skill required at the end walk, and due to the possibility of runners getting confused as to where the run ends (in particular, during 50 stage runs), would it be fair to allow moderators to add a set amount of time onto the final time of the run so that it can be verified instead of rejected for failure to walk to and touch the final checkpoint?

In the rules it states that for the run to count it has to hit the checkpoint at Stage 50. I would assume they at least took some time to read them. And if the wording might confuse some people, it takes 5 minutes to look at 10 runs and see their ending.

As for the suggestion, I do not favor it at the moment, but I would like to hear how the other mods think about it.
