so the RE4 Tweaks mod has been released and updated for quite some time now and i was wondering if it would be allowed in speedruns

it has alot of options that would be great for speedrunning but also some that would be very broken for it aswell but they can be disabled or enabled
the main option that would have to be disabled would be "QTE Fix" this pretty much makes spamming QTE's a breeze and also very broken as you can run past alot of the end triggers for the boulder's and keep going and get a massive time boost here is a video with it on

but other than that it has options like QTE rebinding so you can change the X and C keys to others and "Force V-Sync Off" there are also some other options for controller and mouse like "mouse turning" pretty much how re5 on Keyboard and mouse works by moving the character with this mouse or "Controller Sensitivity" which is pretty obvious allows you take make the controller aiming alot faster but other than that there are graphical options like "Borderless window" and some Fixes just check yourself on the link and see if it would be allowed if settings are made and would have to be used when using this mod

The mod has several features that would provide a runner an unfair advantage over another runner that would not use the mod, therefore it can't be allowed.

I totally agree with sawken, but I saw people using it unfairly and without having any problem with them using mod. Even thought it's right but still out there.
