Most japanese players play on niconico and barely share any strats until Coro showed most of them. At the time where the best ng player was playing (DHN), this strat wasn't even used. Plus, coro said to me that this strat was discovered by a random jp viewer, not even running the game. Overall, the jp community is super active and still very fan of this game. This strat mostly saves 2 flashes.

Edit: I also checked DKN's vod (the fastest time in normal for ng), he wasn't even using this trick, proving that it's pretty new. I'm gonna ask for Ayi if he does know about this existing strat before.
