hi guys, i'm starting learning the game on pc, but i've truble with the controller. I can't run and turn on the same time. Did anyone have this problem? how did you fix it?

i don't feel to play with the keyboard at moment.

ps. i have this problem only with the D-pad. pps. to use the pad i've installed the xbox drivers.

I had this problem too using a DualShock2 controller. Turning off analog solved my problem. Can't use the sticks for anything though. I think this game have incompatibility with HAT switches of DualShock controllers. Idk if you can toggle analog with later DualShocks.

Download a program like Xpadder or Joy2key and just map the keyboard up/down/left/right to the dpad/analog.

The game itself is designed as an old PS1 game, so it will only pick up either the dpad or analog unless you force mapping on both through a program like the above or configure your driver software to use one or the other.

Both of the control functions work perfectly fine though as I have used a DS3 w/ both dpad/analog on this game myself. If neither software above works, it's most likely an issue on your end with the driver software.

so, thanks for the help Furry. joy2key works fine with the RE3 eng version. i don't understand with don't work on the jap.

i will do some more test and maybe switch to DS3 if is still not working.
