This is most likely a easy fix but for someone who has never played the sourcenext version I cannot seem to figure this out. I thought it was a key config problem but it isn't as changing the keys have not stopped the character from walking automatically. Is it a version problem where I need to download the patches?

i've had this happen randomly during a run once or twice but tabbing out of the game and back in solved it, i can confirm it isn't a version problem though does it happen constantly?

The minute I start up the game, the up input will not work then go into game the character just walks around by itself. It happens every time i load the game

weird, whenever it's happened to me it's been mid run and the character would just spin in a circle, no idea why it would happen constantly, never heard of anyone having this problem. i'll ask around

Might just need to delete all the re2 stuff then re-download it all and see if that works

It happened to me a few weeks ago. I figured out that it was a USB pedal I use for Livesplit control that interfered with the game. Maybe you have a USB controller/input/something that isn't well handled by the game.
