Hi ! First, (like you can see i think) i'm french so my english is probably going to be really bad. Red dead is my favorite ps3 game and i wanted to try a speedrun of it (my first! :) ). Thanks a lot for the guide; for the Any% Route and the different tricks.

So; before trying to do my speedrun i thought that it would be nice to discover glitches and I have some questions. I don't succeed the flying glitch because i don't succeed to "fake throw". I'm on ps3 and i press L2 to aim fire bottle, press R2 to throw bottle but i can't press L1 twice to select weapons. I don't succeed to cancel the animation. So, is it my fault ? is it possible to do it on ps3 ? (i think yes) or are you using an old patch to do glitches ? (because i'm on last patch)

Hey man! Glad to see more people interested in trying red dead, sorry I took awhile to respond to you because I was at Insomnia with a load of other speedrunners. I'll keep it short because I'm a bit tired but basically, yeah you need to be on the unpatched version of the game, the disc one without any patches at all, otherwise all the glitches don't work.

Will be cool to see what differences, if any, there are on PS

Hi ! Thanks a lot, i tried rapid fire glitch and it works ! Gonna try to do some nice things now ^^ But, talking about differences, loading screens and saving times seem to be longer on PS. Just my impression or there is a difference between xbox and PS ?

We have no idea what PS is like, since we don't own one to test it on. The only thing I know for sure is that The Great Mexican Train Robbery mission might not crash on PS, but you might have issues elsewhere, we're not too sure! :D
