After further discussion within the community it has been decided that the timing will change.

Runs will no longer start on character confirmation and instead a more appealing character control.

This change will only be positive and make matters more fair. As now all times will technically be faster as going through that long unskippable cutscene will be irrelevant in the final time.

Additionally NG+ runs randomly don’t start with the battery ship intro (which can be skipped) and sometimes they do. Which causes a minimal time loss and inconsistency. Removing this all together will insure everything is kept fair and consistent.

All current runs will be reviewed and updated automatically.

Runs that don’t have a video will be subject to a same change of taking exactly 1:32 off the time. As this is the time from previous start point to control
