This is a though I've had, would it be faster to walk normally or jump as you walk, I haven't tested it but I have a gut feeling jump makes you move somewhat faster.
After doing some simple tests i have found that the time between jumping is a affected by frame rate and i have also found no change in distance traveled from jumping.
