is there anything we as runner can do to get some more activity or people to do these runs, if we dont get any activity ill probably end up having all the ichikawa runs in 1st

I'm surprised this doesn't see much activity considering runs can be recorded tier by tier in categories. Looking at the Discord server, it seems that people don't really hold speedrun.com in high regard and WRs/laptimes are passed around by word of mouth. The nice thing about this site is that you can watch runs and see how people drive. Personally, I think it's a nice way of recording a laptime and further legitimises it instead of a screenshot. It is a bit strange this page isn't that active but then again, I'm not aware of the full story and I can only assume since I don't really take part in the community (only in the server for updates). But yeah, it would be nice to see more activity here. Maybe revamp the page in some way or update it at least.

I would say we should try to work on getting more people submitting runs so we can also work on the activity on the verifys, one solution for this would be via word of mouth to get more people even realising that this page also have an place for mrt runs
