There is a Free Roam Camera thing that I want to use for Burnout 3: Takedown. But, I am not too sure if it would be allowed for Speedrunning. I would only use it for Thumbnails. And, I want to know how to set it up also. That would also be awesome. Cause, I see @expo_ use this all the time and I was wondering how I can get that Free Roam Camera for Burnout 3: Takedown. If there is a way to use it and to set it up.

Note: I am using PCSX2 Nightly and using an SLUS-35001 Model of PCSX2 also. Hope this will work. I really hope that this would work. That would be awesome right there.

Sorry for the self promotion on your post, I'm just wanting to make sure of this is what you're talking about. When you say roaming camera do you mean like freecam? ​Like what I did in this speedrun?

Yeah. Something like this. But, it is in Burnout 3: Takedown. Where you can freeze the camera and take a picture of the scenery. That is something that I would want to learn how to get on my PCSX2.

The rules for Burnout 3 explicitly say "Modified versions of the game are not allowed" so that sounds like a no to me. Very few games allow mods in general, any exceptions are almost always listed in the leaderboard rules. When in doubt, ask a moderator.

If you know of someone who uses the mod in that game you're probably better off just asking them about it directly, it's somewhat unlikely anybody here will know about setting up a specific mod for a specific game, the vast majority of users do not regularly check these forums.

Visual mods are allowed on burnout 3, free cam/ widescreen etc. So long as it does not directly affect gameplay/physics. Free cam is awesome for creating thumbnails. It has zero use in actual runs. I’ll add a resource to burnout 3s page with the code for you @SpeedRunFan2022

You might want to tell the leaderboard moderator that because the rules currently say otherwise lol

yea, ill let him know to update it. He has mentioned it in the burnout discord many times but probably forgot he had a rule set there.
