Hi. I recently watched the current "world record" and noticed that his mouse movements (especially the small wiggles that are natural for a human hand) happen too fast. This made me suspicious, so i decided to count the frames of the blue smudge that appears during a strike. on other videos (where you can hear the in-game sound), this smudge is visible for about ~36 frames. In Eklasa's video, however, only for about 19. This would suggest that his video is that of a sped up play-back of the actual game with the timer being on top of the sped up video. I would ask you to revisit his submission.

damn haters gonna hate i guess. I took the time and put into comparison a clip of a streamer playing whirlwind(5 ticks) and clip of my WR playing Whirlwind(5 ticks). .

You may be comparing a 30fps video to a 60 fps one, but, some actual evidence would be nice before bringing an accusation. Just saying that's true isn't really enough, on the other hand you may be right if splicing was used. eklasa may just be picking out somewhere he didn't splice, but he doesn't have to prove his legitemacy. You have to prove his illegitemacy.

Oye. Come back from work to some early drama. RKBlock while I appreciate you being vigilant, please use a more proper and discreet means of reaching out to me for any suspicions you may have regarding run validity. This is a community, and while cheating is 100% frowned upon and shall be dealt with accordingly, publicly tossing accusations around does nothing positive for the community as a whole. My profile is linked to 3 separate points of contact, you have other ways of reaching out to me directly with your thoughts.

As far as this accusation goes (since it is already public), the material you have presented does not provide sufficient evidence for a declined run. There are multiple framerate outputs on videos (as ai_television has kindly pointed out), as well as a multitude of variations in video quality across platforms (Twitch, Youtube, etc). I see exactly what you are referring to, and I do not disagree with you that there is a discrepancy, but it is simply not enough evidence of anything to invalidate eklasa's run. Eklasa's time will remain the current WR and this thread will be closed.

Thank you,
