Not sure if this is helpful and is probably already widely known, but just thought I'd share.
I did a glitchless casual speedrun today and it was pretty fun.
However, it is worth noting that you can set off the Paint Bucket drop for the Detergent before Slums 2 (I would recommend) and you can also grab the casette tape early before you're meant to know about them.
Just thought this would help anyone interested in running the game and wasn't aware of these facts.
I was also able to get the workers outfit before talking to blaze.
Id reccommend waking up the worker to get the worker hat faster (go to the bar after getting the note to speak to blazer to wake the guy up) also by this time you can also have gotten the casette tape so you could get the outfit before talking to the guy then by the time you have finished talking to the guy the person is already moving the boxes into the hat shop.
Id also guess that english would not be the quickest language to run the game in however im not sure it will make much difference
what ive found good is making them drop the paint can in the slums, and then in slums 2 as youre walking with momo to seamus' place, you can run into the paint dude's shop and go get the detergent!
On my casual playthrough of midtown, i was able to get the safety vest before getting the note by doing the cameras then talking to guy with the cassette tapes which let me distract the shopkeeper, however the laborer robot required to get the hardhat did not spawn in until after I aquired the note. I did find that a fairly quick way to go about it is to take out the cameras, talk to the cassette tape guy, go get the note, and on your way back, stop at the bar and wake up the laborer. Hes quite a slow walker, so while he is going to the hat store, go to the clothing store and get the vest. There's even enough time to go talk to blaze, give him the vest, and get to the hat shop before the laborer gets there.
On the subject of those cameras, I found it faster to get the note, and on the way down take out the cameras that way you only go up and down once
Another thing, I tend to use the time that cass is walking to the note spot to pull out the drawer that leads up to the top. Saves only a few seconds, but its better then not.
Hey all!
