just a simple question in the more slugcats% do you have to play the base game cats aswell?

Nope. Only the DLC characters are required for the category.
Rules states: "Complete the story for all More SlugCats Characters in any order" which isn't super explicit but that's what it means.

Preparing for the Watcher DLC!
With the Watcher coming out in just a few days, I wanted to give everyone a heads-up on what to expect for the new categories
