Hello everyone, i recently watched a cutscene% run and as long as I am a 100% speedrunner on this game i thought it could be a good thing to enlarge the possible categories for this game. I also recently reply to a thread about a boss rush categorie and thought it could bring more variant players for the speedrun. So what do you think ?

Personally I value new categories mostly if they offer something new and interesting compared to the existing, either in viewer experience or routing. At first view, I think a 100% + All cutscenes would be way too redundant with the categories we already have. As for boss rush mode, there is definitely more potential there. I'm not yet convinced that it would bring more players unless there's a demand for it from actual runners. I don't want to fall in the trap of creating a category with a single run (or worse, no runs) for an easy WR.

I don't think '100% + cutscenes' would add a lot to the game. It's still something that people could submit to marathons, but I don't see the point in a category where the routing would probably be very similar to existing categories.

I agree that boss rush would be interesting.
