I am trying to learn speedrun this with Jake. How can you make such big damage against bosses with 4x slam move?

One thing to keep in mind is that the extra damage is random. So if you see SMASH or CRUSH when attacking enemies, a critical hit was delivered, meaning more damage. As far as I know, there's no way to manipulate critical hits

This game basically has a system where a 'Critical hit' will always occur the moment you hit an enemy when the last four digits of the score are as follows.

Additionally, since Jake's skill is the only one that doesn't give points even when hitting an enemy, if you hit an enemy while matching the last 4 digits of the score as above, 'critical hits' will appear 3 times in a row.

Which is the best version to speedrun?

Well, the arcade version would be the choice, there was Johnny Turbo's arcade version for the Switch a while back but I think they removed it.

So the arcade version from japan 1.2 Rev is the best?

I can't say for sure. I would say whatever works best.
