What do you think of Streamlabs OBS?

Not sure if there is another topic, but what do you think of Streamlabs OBS? It makes my life so much easier with streaming, especially since I can only stream on emulators. They are even nice enough to give you a page where you can see chat and change your title and game instantly.

I prefer the normal OBS with SL Chatbot (which has a chat in it) because you can't change the size of the preview in SLOBS which just results in incredibly small options at the bottom, in OBS you can change it so both use half of the screen which is way better as someone with like 30 scenes and 10-20 objects per scene... And the Chatbot has FFZ integration while the SLOBS Chat doesn't.

Id say SLOBS is super useful for people with slower PCs/smaller monitors but for all others it would be better just running multiple programs.

SLOBS isn’t too bad, it has its perks especially if you already use Streamlabs for stuff. I will say though that it can be a bit more finicky since it is still in pretty active development (unless they slowed down a bit the past couple months). I’d still recommend regular OBS if you’re gonna go that route, but if it works good for you, run with it.

I'll be switching to Phantombot's browser sources when those are finalized (and I get my chance to mess with the code in whatever way I want), so I have no real use for potentially worse software that heavily implies I should be staying with streamlabs, which is way harder to customize. Changing the title/game and such I could probably even make custom commands for, if I really wanted to, but I already have both the bot's and twitch's dashboard open anyways, just one Ctrl+Tab away from the tab I keep my notes in.

I'm a regular OBS kind guy myself. I mostly run emulators, too, but I like having other chat options pulled up in the browser just to have maximum control over the stream. SLOBS is nice, but the regular OBS is where it's at.

I tried to use SLOBS, but found that OBS with SL Chatbot works better for me as well. Having the FrankerFaceZ integrated is pretty cool as well, so my vote is for using the separate programs (until SLOBS development catches up anyways).

Slobs has worse performance than obs studio, lacks ton of features and generally is just a bad software as for now. They are now paying streamers to use it which tells a lot about the company.

Never used SteamLabsOBS. I more use OBS Studio. But, I am confused on why I am not seeing my Red Recording Dot when I do record my gameplay's or reactions. If anyone can help on that, that would be appreciated.
