I am curious, however. Are there any plans to allow this mod to be runnable? The current category for the SRB1 Remake is empty, And I think that this may bring new life to it.

At the moment we have no plans to import mods to the official leaderboard of SRB2 even if it may fit that slot. There's not really an audience for it which is very similar to why we stopped supporting the archaic versions of SRB2 like final demo and 2.0. The reason SRB1 remake got a spot on the leaderboard in the first place was people demanding it similarly to this claiming there was an audience which there is not. 2.1 of course still has the category and it probably works better there due to the way slopes work (causing some skips when jumping through platforms to gain additional height and whatnot) so even if it was brought out for 2.2 it wouldn't even be inherently faster.
