You don’t have to criticize it. I mainly do it for titles of YT videos, so I get used to capitalizing the first letter of each word for short sentences or phrases. I also just wanted to ask a question.

anyways usually it comes about that i'm the one to start up a community / i'm the most active in them (or have the most time). maybe i'll be running a game too much and the mod will give up and just give me mod so i can verify my own runs, or i offer to help set up a board, etc, these are all cases that i've been added to a game as mod for

good answer but i think he was talking about site staff, not game mods OP is already a moderator of a couple of games

@actuallyelite your question probably isn't going to be answered, elo doesn't usually read these forums, and they respond even less frequently. all I know is that @starsmiley and @Meta were volunteer staff when @Pac owned the site, and were promoted to elo staff a while after elo bought the site. the other staff members are workers at elo. I haven't met any of them and don't know how they got their jobs. if you are talking about game mods ("staff member" is a weird way of saying that if that is what you mean) there isnt much of a story to that for most people. for me it's just I requested a game onto the site or i had to get an inactive mod removed. nothing interesting here
