Hi! Just finished Dark Forces Remastered, was wondering if the mods have requested a board for the game?
I would be willing to help set one up if need be, I intend to speedrun this game. :D
+1! I would love a remaster board. This seems like a great game to get into speedrunning.
Super cool that there's interest to run the game, yeah the plan is to integrate DFR in some nice way hopefully together with TFE's split-off category, unfortunately this version is lacking in autosplitter and load removal so it would be a bit barebones for now. Since there is an interest and people want to submit their runs I will create a separate category for now. It won't be on the main-board at any point since it's very much a reverse-engineered port with not much possibility to verify the actual differences, but also come with advantages that simply don't compare well.
Yeah I thought they would already be added but the way I set up the subcategories made them not show for some reason. All versions support ILs now (Any% only).
Feel free to also join the Discord for more information, guides, strats, discussions and anything related to DF. As most communities that's where pretty much everything is centered around. Since the remaster is a very new thing there's bound to be a lot of discussions and how the game works technically for speedrunning.
