Hello friends, I have been practicing the game encounters for a few months. And I noticed that there is no category of the game based on the "levels runs like other games" encounters. Do you think this category can exist? The speedrun community of this game is small and these categories would expand the community a lot in my opinion.

If you see Runners Youtube channels you can see very good PBs from them in specific Encountros (Ambush, Hospital, Metro station, etc). If you compare them with the "complete encounters category" you can see there is more optimization on the times, and this can be a fully playing category.
From what I know.. the management of this leaderboard not planning on adding more categories. I know some leaderboards like RDR2 for example, has an individual board for certain every encounter/chapter of the game. Maybe if TLOU games wasn't ' PS exclusive ' we would've see more categories. so could be in the future. PS5/PS4 console combined in the same board.. even though they should be separated. hope that's helps.
For Individual Level runs, the categories would not be "Hospital, Metro Station" etc, they would be likely based on Seattle Days. However, there has been a push in the past for IL runs but there has never been enough interest to warrant adding those categories. In regards to "Encounters Only" category, it exists for Part 2 in the category extensions leaderboard.
if there isn't Ellie% Encounter's only in whatever leaderboard. it seems like no one would be interest in doing the whole game Encounter's %. the fact those boards combined with PS5/PS4... is pathetic.
I'm not really sure what you're trying to do here but publicly calling out someone for some comments they said two years ago on a speedrunning forum about a completely different subject is not cool. If you have any concerns or problems regarding the leaderboards, feel free to message any of the moderators privately or discuss it in the speedrunning discord. This is just kinda... unnecessary. Also, the difference in Part 2 between 60 and 30 in terms of how the game acts is for the most part, identical. Yes there are spots in the game where the strategy would have to change in 60fps, however these differences have been determined by the mods to not be enough to warrant a separate category.
