You should probably ask in your games forum and not on this one; you should be having trusted players who play the game apply and not just anyone random in the main forums.
Appointing randoms is not a solution. Moderators and verifiers should always be people who are actually familiar with the game. Having someone who doesn't actually know what they're looking at just press the verify button is pointless. If the game is super active (it's not), then surely one of the runners would be willing and able to help out.
Glancing at the leaderboard, there's been 4 runs submitted in the current calendar year so far and most of those are under 30 seconds long, and there's no pending runs, so between you and the runner you just appointed I think you've got it under control lol
