What will be the rules around touchscreen? I did some experimenting and with touch, you can sort of immediately teleport the objects without dragging them into place which can save alot of time.
Using two hands, one to take the thing out of the box and one to place has a lot of speedrun potential. It could be a viable strategy but may restrict runners who dont have a touch screen PC?
I'm gonna keep glitch hunting with stuff like touch detection and other control mechanics. The game makers did a good job of weeding out bugs though.
I think touchscreen would be fine for an any% category, however for glitchless categories, I don't think it should be allowed. I'll ask the other mod about it and respond when I do.
i know you can have like subcategories like glitchless no touchscreen and glitchless touchscreen so maybe that could be an option? i know the game setera divides their categories like that and it might be worth looking into if touchscreen is viable.
Or you can setup a new parameter when you submit your run, if it used touchscreen or not, after that, you can just filter what you want to see or not.
