Someone else asked about this a long time ago and I figured it deserves its own thread. What's the ruling on offscreen grinding for a playground?

As in, once I finish TTC, is it okay for me, in between runs, to go and destroy Cogs to get my Gag Level as large as I can stand it? Naturally, as long as I don't talk to Bessie - as well as leave the sidetasks alone if I'm doing a 100% run - in the meantime, I assume.

You are allowed to grind as much as you can before starting any of the other playground's tasks as long as you haven't actually started them yet.
