Not sure there is any "community", it's mostly just me and a couple others sometimes. I'm glad someone wants to route 100%, the only reason I never added the category was because there isn't a run of it, I was planning on doing a Survivalist Challenge run at one point which is why that's there but I never got around to it. 
I'd be happy to help you route, but I haven't really looked into it at all, without googling I'm not even sure what is required for 100%. If I could remember where my notes where for the Survivalist I could give you those but otherwise it's just my Any% notes in the guides section.

My survivalist notes were just where each flower was and the shortest route between each one, nothing special or too useful.

I'm thinking before entering a mission or after completing one in an area where specific flower types are, then get the flower type you need. For example, I think it's best to get Red Sage after Assault on Fort Mercer as you're in Rio Bravo anyway and  there's not many missions set in that region, and it's just before you end up in Mexico.

I've just figured out the perfect route for New Austin in 100%. Unfortunately I cannot record anything so I'll try and get a google doc sorted. Upon reaching Mexico, you should have about 40% of the game completed. Below is a list of everything that is required for 100% that should be done in New Austin (challenges will be shown separately because of RNG issues).

New Austin Requirements

- 7 Stranger Missions completed, 2 of them should be in your journal (Funny Man & Lights, Camera, Action)

• American Appetites
• California
• Flowers for a Lady
• Jenny's Faith
• Let No Man Put Asunder
• Water and Honesty
• Who Are You to Judge?

- 2 Jobs completed

• Horsebreaking (Ridgewood Farm)
• Nightwatch (MacFarlane's Ranch)

- 8 Bounties completed, 2 need to be captured ALIVE (listed below), the rest should be done in Armadillo 

• Capture alive a bounty from MacFarlane's Ranch as part of the Bollard Twins Outfit
• Capture alive a bounty from Rathskeller Fork as part of the Treasure Hunter Outfit

- 4 Minigames won

• Arm Wrestling (Plainview)
• Blackjack (Rathskeller Fork)
• Horseshoes (MacFarlane's Ranch
• Liar's Dice (Thieves' Landing)

- 2 Outfits completed

• Elegant Suit
• Bollard Twins Outfit

- 3 Safehouses Purchased

• Armadillo
• Rathskeller Fork
• Thieves' Landing


So here is the section regarding the challenges.

I did a practise run of New Austin and the RNG was very fortunate in my case. Not only with animal spawns but with bounties and outfit requirements as well. When I played Blackjack my first hand gave me 21, meaning I automatically won a profit for Treasure Hunter outfit without even doing anything which made me laugh as that has never happened to me.

Anyway, if RNG is on your side, you should end up with a challenges section that looks like this:

• Survivalist Rank 4
• Master Hunter Rank 4 (Cannot be done until West Elizabeth due to Boar spawns)
• Treasure Hunter Rank 5
• Sharpshooter Rank 7 (Cannot be done until West Elizabeth due to Bear spawns)

Sharpshooter is by far the worst because one section wants you to shoot 5 birds while on a moving train. When I returned to Armadillo from a bounty, a train was at the station so I just hopped on and did the challenge (incredibly based RNG). The next one is shoot 2 hats off two different people, which I did on Justice in Pike's Basin.

Master Hunter is not that hard, but the hardest spawn is probably the wolf but you should be able to find a group of them somewhere. Survivalist and Treasure Hunter are easy as you just collect shit.

I think that's it for now, as I said earlier I'll try and create a google doc for this shit and I'll start moving onto Mexico in the near future.

There is a few forced train rides in Mexico (and that one where you follow/defend a train on horse but you can get on the train if you want to) where you have nothing to do for awhile, I'm not sure if the challenges need to be done in order but if you could wait until Mexico then that would be the best time to shoot the birds.

About what you said earlier, it wouldn't be that bad if the challenge could be done on one of those Mexican train missions as the one after that is just shoot 2 guys hats off (easy peasy) then just wait until West Elizabeth for Rank 7, in fact you might as well do it as you don't want to waste much time in New Austin.

If you're busy then you're busy. This game has been a pleasure to route so far as I've basically got New Austin in my head now. Don't worry about it.

New Austin route changes:

So I forgot that you have to discover all 94 locations as part of 100%, but there are maps from general stores you can use from the inventory so the game automatically discovers every location of that specific area, for example Cholla Springs map will discover all locations in Cholla Springs etc. I have included them in my route which shows the best times to get the maps.

I have also taken Arm Wrestling out of New Austin because I just realised that you have to win it in Pacific Railroad (West Elizabeth) as part of the U.S. Army Outfit, so 3 minigames should be done in New Austin to be precise.

The beginning of Mexico is fucking ridiculous as there's so much stuff to do in Chuparosa but can't all be done at the same time. So basically after completing "We Shall Be Together In Paradise", it will either be daytime or nighttime as you can start that mission at any time during the day. You should hope to finish the mission in the day (preferably morning) as you can get more done in Chuparosa. So here is a list of what you have to do -

• Purchase the safehouse (both)
• Horsebreaking (day)
• Purchase the Bandito outfit scrap from General Store (day)
• 8 Bounties (day)
• Nightwatch (Night)

The two situations are below:

- Daytime

Purchase outfit scrap, horsebreaking then as many bounties before 7pm. Do Landon Ricketts rides again then when you've broken the Hungarian Half-Bred after, save warp and do Nightwatch then the rest goes from there.

- Nighttime

Do Nightwatch, complete Landon Ricketts Rides again then after Hungarian Half-Bred, save warp and do the daytime activities.

Also forgot to mention that all of this is done after the Gunslinger's Tragedy. Mexico is going to be a pain in the arse to route so it'll take me longer to do than New Austin.

Josh's suggestion about the mission where you can get on the train and defend it (Civilisation, At Any Price) for Sharpshooter 4 is correct - you can do the challenge there. In fact, that is the only time you can do it with a fixed moving train spawn in Mexico. During Mexican Caesar, not a single bird spawned anywhere. Bird spawns are more generous during the day, so if you're doing the mission at night pray for 5 birds to spawn and quickly use dead eye so you can see the sky more clearly.

Yeah if you love the game then it might be fun for you. I'll check out your stream if I have time as I'm currently on the game right now. 

I have a theory where you can complete a stranger task/segment while a bounty is active (the target is not captured or dead yet.) The stranger task in question is Aztec Gold. The second part is in Primera Quebrada, which also happens to be a bounty location. So what I'm hoping is while you're doing the bounties if you get the Quebrada location, DO NOT complete it and carry on with the story until you complete the de santa mission where he betrays you. After complete the bounty and that Aztec gold part and carry on with bounties. This would save you from traveling to Primera Quebrada without any good reason. Hopefully this works.

EDIT: I accepted a bounty then did lucky in love, after the mission the bounty disappeared off the radar so that idea can be scrapped. I see no other good time to do Aztec Gold part 2 apart from after the Demon Drink. Start the stranger, get the Ojo Del Diablo treasure along the way and then do Aztec Gold Part 2

Better idea: before starting Father Abraham (Luisa) do Aztec Gold part 2. Part 3 will be done after De Santa's Downfall and then finish it off after that.
