I've been trying to recover my 100% record for a while now and I'm wondering if it would be possible to do a sub 7 hour run. Or if there would be a method that would reduce the time to get a trillion dollars, or is it really just luck to have a meteor shower?

Sub 7 hours is definitely possible, but sadly you're right in the fact that to do so you'd need an unholy amount of luck. Some of the run is skill, sure, but most of it is just praying for meteorite showers.
